CLINICAL DETAILS
Dr. Falanga has a very active medical practice in East Stroudsburg, providing comprehensive care for persons from age 16 up, with a sub-specialty in diseases and treatment of the elderly. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. As patients age, they may experience an increased susceptibility to illness and injury; in some cases illnesses or injuries may overlap, creating complicated diagnostic and treatment processes. Dr. Falanga is trained to diagnose, treat and manage these and any related medical situations.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of NE PA Transplant Support Group, Associate Professor of Medicine at Penn State Primary Care, and Associate Clinical Professor of Commonwealth Medical College. He is also a reviewer of the American Board of Internal Medicine, contributing questions for the geriatric examination.
Dr. Falanga’s past service includes being Chief of Medicine at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg where he was on the Medical Executive Committee and also served as the Chairman of the Medical Records Committee. He served as Medical Advisor to the National Park Service from 2008 – 2011, and as Medical Director of Gentiva, in Stroudsburg from 2010 - 2014.
Medical students, physician assistants and nurse practitioners rotate through Dr. Falanga’s office gaining valuable insight into medicine from Dr. Falanga’s training and expertise.

Dr. Falanga is a member of the American College of Physicians, earning a Fellowship in July of 1999.
